Tasks:
- As the HVAC mechanic at PCC, you will be tasked for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. This includes working with a variety of systems such as central heating and cooling, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioning units.
- You will be diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with HVAC systems, identifying the root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions. This includes conducting regular inspections and performance tests on systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- You are required to adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at PCC Coast Contracting, ensuring a safe working environment. This includes understanding and complying with BC local, state, and federal codes related to HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- The HVAC mechanic will be providing superior customer service to our loyal clients, addressing client concerns and queries regarding HVAC systems.; Explaining technical information in an accessible manner and ensure customer satisfaction with the services provided.
- You will be inspecting residential and commercial HVAC projects with high attention to detail, aligning with our company’s emphasis on quality.; Ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectations.
- As a HVAC mechanic, you will be working closely with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen on renovation and development projects.; Collaborating effectively in a team setting to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- You will be maintaining and managing all tools and equipment required for HVAC tasks. This includes ensuring that all tools are in good working condition and stored safely.
- You are also required to stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques in the HVAC industry.; Advising on and implementing energy-efficient solutions for heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. This includes recommending upgrades or modifications that reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Providing emergency repair services as needed, being available for call-outs outside of regular business hours when required.; Maintaining accurate records of all installations, repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Preparing and submitting reports on HVAC project progress and outcomes.
- Working in tandem with other departments of PCC like roofing, framing, and insulations, to ensure integrated and comprehensive building solutions.
