Salary: $24.00/ Hour for 40 to 60 Hours / Week

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the feedlot industry
Languages: English

Tasks: Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of specialized livestock workers, farm machinery operators, livestock labourers; Supervise, monitor, and enforce procedures to maintain animal health and welfare; Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed; Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs; Maintain livestock performance records; Train staff; Handling animals; Select livestock for sale; Monitoring animal health; Diagnose livestock health issues; Treat livestock health issues; Maintain work records and logs; Marking livestock as proof of ownership; Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas; Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; May perform general farm duties.
Supervision: 3-4 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: work under pressure; physically demanding; standing for extended periods; attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, Livestock, Outdoors, Odours, Dusty
Work Setting: Rural area; various locations
