Mandate:
Reporting to the Freight Manager, the Freight Forwarding Logistician is responsible for processing and reviewing international ocean import cargo transactions and managing bookings for a portfolio of clients.

Other Duties:
· Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely assistance and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective communication.
· Assist with planning and organizing operational logistics across supply chain departments.
· Facilitate ongoing communication with freight coordinators to ensure smooth coordination across departments and facilities.
· Assist in monitoring shipment activity and updating freight status information to support timely deliveries and receipts.
· Prepare and submit freight reports when needed.
· Maintain freight documentation, records, and logs, as required.
· Update worksheets and specifications regarding the status of freight operations, shipment rates, and other logistics information.
· Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience of operations in a Freight Forwarding environment
• Minimum of 4 years of customer service experience
• College diploma in Supply Chain Management or International Transportation and Customs is required
• Experience with CargoWise One or related systems is considered an asset
• Must be bilingual (French and English)
